Temple, Texas Airport (TPL) - Mark your calendars for May 2 & 3, 2009 for the largest, most exciting family event in central Texas. This should be a weekend of Flying, Fun, Smoke, & Pyrotechnics with non-stop flying.

We will take you on a journey through the corridors of time to view aircraft from the past, present, and future. Step back in time from the barnstorming days of flying with the performances of Paul Fiala in his Great Lakes, then the WWII era will unfold before your eyes with the vibrations from the powerful radial engines of WWII Fighters and Bombers.

Don’t miss the precision choreography of the largest ground reenactment in honor of our Vietnam Veterans with Vietnam era aircraft including the Skyraider, OV1 Mohawk and Huey helicopters.

The sky will rumble as A-10 Thunderbolt II bolts into action over Central Texas. Smoke, Smoke and more Smoke will envelop the skies as the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, one of aviation’s finest four-plane precision formation aerobatic teams wows the crowd with their daring routine. Matt Younkin amazes the crowd with his truly show-stopping act in the Twin Beech.

We anticipate a phenomenal turn out of over 25,000 people in Temple Texas for this two day event, so purchase your discounted tickets in advance at your local HEB or order online at www.centraltexasairshow.com.
