Saving water is always a hot topic in Texas, especially in this strangling heat. Now, gardeners, homeowners, and anyone with green space who wants to make their yards more water-friendly can get some expert help.

Texas State Technical College will host a course on water-wise landscapes to teach anyone with an interest in creating beautiful, low maintenance and water-saving yards how it’s done.

This Continuing Education course will be conducted by the expert staff of TSTC’s Golf Course & Landscape Management program on Fridays during July for three sessions, July 10, 17 and 24, from 8 a.m. to noon each session. Cost is just $70 per person for the entire series.
