Central Texas Veterans Health Care System hosts an U.S. Army Reserve Muster Saturday, July 18, at 8:30 a.m. The U. S. Army Human Resources Command event begins with a presentation in the Teague Tower (Building 163) Amphitheater at the VA Temple campus, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive. More than 70 reservists from Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri are expected to attend.

Dr. Donald Kasperik, the CTVHCS Deputy Chief of Staff, provides welcoming remarks at 8:30 a.m. Brig. Gen. William D. R. Waff, the Deputy Commander of the United States Army Reserve Human Resource Command, will also make remarks. The muster will conclude with a debriefing in the Teague Tower Amphitheater at 3 p.m.

The muster will assess, update and certify the readiness of Army Reserve Soldiers. Multiple informational booths will be available for the participants in the Primary Care Clinic including Family Assistance, the Defense Commissary Agency, Military OneSource, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as VA representatives, who will enroll Veterans for health care. VA social workers, Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom transitional patient advocates and case workers will also provide information.
