The Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced that two local stores have been ranked on the list of top 45 stores to visit in Texas, according to the popular website ShopAcrossTexas.com. Visitors staying in the downtown Waco area love to have great shops to visit during their stay and both Bloom & Bee Swanky and Spice Home Furnishings have been recognized as two of the most popular stores in Texas to visit.
Bloom & Bee Swanky, located at 210 South 5th Street in downtown Waco, has been in business since 2005 and offers shoppers a showcase of offbeat antiques and vintage-inspired items. Owner Amy Bradshaw promotes her store as the place that has “an ensemble of unexpected finds”.
Spice Home Furnishings, located at 2nd Street and Franklin Avenue in downtown Waco, has become a hotspot for people to visit. In business since 1997, it creates a fun environment for finding unusual items in one location, including home décor elements and fun and innovative gifts. It is always striving to keep up with trends, while offering an eclectic mix of reclaimed treasures.
“We are very excited to have two of our wonderful shopping establishments being recognized by ShopAcrossTexas.com,” explained Elizabeth A. Taylor, Director for the Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Both Bloom & Bee Swanky and Spice Home Furnishings are perfect examples of the reason why people enjoy visiting our great city.”
