Gardening Series Workshop offered in October

(WACO) — Texas State Technical College and World Hunger Relief have teamed up to offer a Gardening Workshop Series that can easily teach you to how to garden more successfully and grow an abundance of vegetables.
In conjunction with the international organization, World Hunger Relief – gardening experts in agroforestry and related technologies – this gardening series can turn even those with a black thumb into budding gardeners who can easily learn to successfully grow fresh vegetables.
Topics include plants, soils, composting, pest management and more. Those attending can earn .8 hours Continuing Education Credits. Cost is just $96 for the entire series.
The series will be held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon on Oct. 3 and 10, at the World Hunger Relief Farm in Elm Mott, just outside Waco.
