Saturday Oct. 24 at the Sports Authority in the Central Texas Marketplace, from 12:00 pm – 3 :00 pm, we are having a fundraiser to raise funds to help with medical expenses for Amy Morgan, a 24-year-old West resident and full time TSTC student, who has suffered with Scoliosis (a medical condition that curves the spine from side to side) her entire life.

She has had numerous surgeries, throughout her lifetime, to try to correct this condition, with all surgeries resulting in temporary relief.

She recently underwent her last surgery on September 15, 2009 in Plano.

When released, all was thought to have went well; however, a week after surgery, she was rushed to the emergency room as a result of a blood clot that later resulted in her having internal bleeding.

All proceeds from the Bake Sale & Raffle will benefit medical expenses for Amy Morgan.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $20.
