Waco Transit has partnered with Waco Police Department and TX Dot to provide a FREE Safe Ride Home this New Years. Safe Ride Home is designed to take you to and from your New Year’s Eve event or you can call the day of.

The program began in 2005 with a total of 7 passengers being transported home, and has grown to nearly 300 people being transported.

They are expecting that number to increase again by 35%. Waco Transit will be using their new sedans, mini-vans and cut-away vehicles to transport. Vehicle selection will be based upon how many are within your party.

This program has become a success through the generous contributions from their primary sponsor Allen Samuels and their supporters.

Several calls have been taken and space is becoming limited.
