Surgical Services Supply Tech - Full Time

Adheres to the Standards of Behavior (SHARE Principles) at all times. Provides World Class Service at all times.
Performs OR Inventory Tech activities under the supervision of the Assistant Purchasing Director.
Minimum 2 years' experience in maintaining Surgery supplies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Inventories, pulls, and puts away supplies.
Maintains par levels as not to rely on expediting orders (unless emergency arises)
Maintains par levels on a semi-annual basis for surgery, recovery room, ASC and Special Procedures.
Requests charge numbers (CDM) for all patient chargeable items, filling out CDM request form with all information needed to process request properly.
Performs all other tasks that may be required.
Demonstrates the ability to make effective judgments including crisis/emergency situations. Seeks assistance appropriately.
Remains flexible in relation to needs of the department.
Maintains a clean and neat work place.
Completes work assignments in a satisfactory manner with minimal supervision.
Manages conflict and frustration in a constructive manner. Accepts constructive criticism(s).
Promotes teamwork and approaches working relationships in a manner which reduces conflicts and prevents stress
Responsible for department supplies, expensive equipment, and adherence to responsible use (good steward) of hospital, department and patient resources.
Research special request from surgeons
Maintain the Tissue Tracking Log
Enter requisitions for supplies bought in by reps.
Request stock number activation or new stock numbers for OR and Sterile Processinge

Provides World Class Service at all times.
Minimum 2 years' experience in maintaining Surgery supplies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Texas Driver’s License Required
