Title: Clinical Assistant (Float) Division: Health Services Program: BCS Community Health Center Beginning Salary: Negotiable Travel Required: 75-80% Duties: Provides patient care and assistance to the providers and other clinical personnel. This position must be willing to travel to other clinics as needed. The Clinical Assistant strives for excellence in giving quality care and excellent service to the agency’s customers. The ideal candidate will incorporate OC3 (Optimized Care Delivery) goals as well as standards for the PCMH (Patient-Centered Medical Home) model. Must be knowledgeable in pediatric/adult healthcare along with phlebotomy skills. Education, Skills & Work Experience Required: HS degree or equivalent; current CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified within 30-60 days. Min. 6 month-1 yr. clinical setting experience. Licenses, Certifications or Registration Required: Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Certification as a nursing assistant, medical assistant or EMT.
