KBTX is searching for a creative individual with advanced video production, script writing, and editing skills. Must be a self-motivational team player who thrives in a busy deadline driven environment.
Works within the creative services department completing projects Including commercial and promotional projects for KBTX (CBS), KBTX-DT 2 (CW8), kbtx.com, and all associated properties and programs developed for and by KBTX Media.
Development and execution of on-air client campaigns and marketing for a diverse array of products and services including assistance with promotional development of KBTX Media properties and programs working in conjunction with the #1 Media Sales team in the Bryan-College Station region.
Knowledge of television internal systems, including production. Great communication skills a must, ability to consult with and lead clients to creation of effective advertising campaigns. Must possess a working knowledge of digital media platforms, a strong understanding of web graphics, components and social media. Extensive experience on non-linear editing systems such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe After-Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and other plug-in programs is required. 3D animation is a PLUS. Must have strong writing skills, knowledge of lighting for video production and knowledge of camera and related gear used during shooting of commercial and promotional footage.
A degree in Communications or in related field required and/or years of experience.

•Communicate status of client and commercial projects with local account executives
•Write, shoot, direct, edit promotional production as needed
•Work with sales staff and clients in creation of successful campaigns. Station sales projects will be a collaborative effort with promotions/marketing.
•Must be an effective liaison with sales staff, clients, and others in the department.
•Creativity is a key so as to help station clients succeed and grow.
•Make full use of resources made available through affiliate commercial and promotional support from CBS, CW, Gray Digital Media, and all syndicator outlets.
•When possible, candidate is urged to participate in continuing education opportunities with intent of enhancing performance as Creative Services Producer.
•This person also needs to know how to use the creativity and ideas of others to expedite a high level of excellent product output.

•This person will be expected to set a high standard for in areas of organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
