Vertex is currently in need of a Customer Service Representative for the Center of Excellence in Waco, TX.
Vertex Business Services is the market leader in Customer Management Services for electric, water, and gas in North America. They have approximately 1,700 people serving clients through 15 centers of excellence. Vertex believes in delivering collaborative and innovative solutions that optimize the experience of their clients and their customers. These offerings help over 50 utilities better manage their customer relationships and bring efficiency to their critical operations.
Job Duties include:
•Enrolling new customers, offering new products and services to existing customers.
•Initiate service orders and provide service order status updates
•Route escalating customer issues to higher level employees for resolution
•Processing correspondence and updates on customer accounts
•Processing refunds, compensation requests and changes to accounts
• Must have 1 year of Customer Service Exp
• Must have HS Diploma/GED
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Excellent call handling skills
• Bilingual in Spanish, Highly preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable
