Ultrasound Technologist - PRN
MUST BE A GRADUATE OF AN APPROVED PROGRAM IN ULTRASOUND AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN QUALITY ULTRASOUND SCANS IN A WAY THAT MEETS THE STANDARDS OF CARE FOR EACH BODY PART REQUESTED BY AN ORDERING PHYSICIAN. MUST BE REGISTRY ELIGIBLE BY ARRT OR ARDMS UPON STARTING EMPLOYMENT, AND MUST BE REGISTERED BY EITHER CREDENTIALING BOARD WITHIN ONE YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE. PROVIDE A QUALITY SONOGRAPHERS IMPRESSION OF THE AREAS SCANNED FOR THE INTERPRETING RADIOLOGIST OR PHYSICIAN. USE OF ULTRASOUND MACHINE / PROBES, PACS, RADIOLOGY INFORMATION SYSTEM (RIS), PC AND SCANNER ARE VITAL TO POSITION. BEHAVIOR AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS MUST ALWAYS BE IN KEEPING WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR POLICY.
License/certification required. One (1) year experience preferred.
