Police Identify Woman Run Down After Argument
Police Monday identified the 63-year-old Killeen woman who was run down after an argument and they released the name of the man who was arrested after the deadly hit-and-run.

None of you really do your research on any topic. Most must not be anything more then GED rejects. To the family, my sincerest apologies go out to you. To the rest of you, the Soldier wasn't charged with murder, vehicular manslaughter, or any other violent offender charge. The news simply said he was picked up for a DUI hence the $2000 dollar bond. He wasn't picked up by the MP's, it's a civil matter and the MP's only get involved when it comes down to Military charges. I've picked up Soldiers for DUIs in the past and know enough that they release the Soldier to either Senior NCO's or Officer's depending on the severity. But then as many of you imply he paid his bond, which means he was released to a bondsman and not his unit or anyone in the Military. If anything has happened, his Senior leaders have probably placed him under NCO Leadership Watch due to either suicidal thoughts or fear of fleeing if he did it. Remember we believe in innocence before guilt in this country.

Wanted all to know he is active military he was not released, he paid bond in killeen but the MP's were waiting when he got out! Maybe there is some justice left out there. Signed family of the deceased.

To Michelle, aren't you calling the kettle black. Hmmm! Check your last comment, I see some errors in it. Some words you have capitalize when they shouldn't be. Pray for the family next time before you comment on KWTX'S errors, they are all human just like us.

My opinion in this one -- someone sc****ed the pooch on this one. Why wasn't he charged with intoxication manslaughter at the least?? That $2000 bond won't keep him in this area so good luck ever trying to find him again. May she rest in peace. My condolences to the woman's family.

To "mom", the article has been updated since Michelle's comment, it originally said "rund over" instead of run down. I have to agree with Michelle, because this isn't the first time I've noticed misspellings on this news site, please proofread KWTX! My heart goes out to the woman's family, it's a very sad story.

How is it this guy runs over & kills a woman, then just walks out of jail on a $2000 bond? That's just messed up!!They probably will never see that man again. Its sad to think a womans life means so little to people these days.

I don't think Michelle is insensitive, it is very irritating to have to decipher some of this stuff sometimes. This site does not use spell check obviously, and sometimes the grammer is horrible.

First of all I would like to say that I am sorry to the family and that she is in a better place now. No matter what was said on the page spelling should be the last thing you should be worried about. The crime that was committed matters in this case. For the one's that are on here worried about spelling you need grow the hell up. A women lost her life to a drunk driver. Have some respect.

If you don't like KWTX, find you another station!!! I'm sick and tired of folks running down the station that is always there for us. If you were perfect, and never make a gramatical error, then you could go to work for KWTX. But, like all the rest of us...none of us are perfect!!If we were, we wouldn't be walking on the face of this earth. The accident was horrific. May the family find peace in some of these heartfelt comments. Thanks for letting me vent....

If $2000 dollar bond is all he had to pay for taking a persons life what will he get later when he goes on trial aslap on the wrist. There is no fair justices any more. What about the family of the lady he ran over this just doesn`t sound fair to just let him walk out on a $2000 dollar bound.
