HAZMAT Team Responds To Local Middle School
A Fort Hood HAZMAT team responded Monday to a middle school on post after a suspicious letter was discovered.

FORT HOOD (March 8, 2010)—A Fort Hood Hazardous Material team responded to Audie Murphy Middle School on post Monday afternoon to retrieve a letter that appeared to have a brown liquid substance on it.
Fort Hood said the letter was tested and there were no indications the substance on it was hazardous or explosive.
The letter was turned over to military police investigators for further testing, Fort Hood said.
Other details weren’t released Monday.

TO LEVI & OLIVER. Im appauled by how "too" much attention to detail gets critized and "little" attention and reaction to detail is same out come. "we're dammed if we do and if we don't" THESE ARE OUR CHILDREN & what better way to target THE LARGEST POST IN THE FREE WORLD especially after the aftermath of NOV5,09. REALLY...? ANY solider,memeber, dependent, close friend etc would be in tuned with the proceedures carried out for the school and well being of the children.

I was in one of the buildings on Nov 5. I didn't think that could ever happen either but it did and I relive it daily. Right on Marie some people don't have a clue.
