WACO (May 19, 2009)-A Lorena junior varsity basketball coach accused of having a relationship with a student remains in the McLennan County Jail Thursday on a $1 million bond.

Kyle Salisbury, 24, of Woodway, turned himself into authorities late Monday night

Salisbury faces multiple charges including two counts of improper relationship between an educator and a student, indecency with a child and two counts of sexual assault.

Bond was set at $200,000 on each of the five counts.

The charges stem from an investigation opened by Woodway Public Safety after a complaint was filed last week against the coach.

Salisbury was placed on administrative leave during the investigation.

The complaints stem from incidents involving a 14-year-old female student at Lorena High School that occurred at Salisbury’s apartment in Woodway that occurred in April and May.
