MCLENNAN COUNTY (May 26, 2009)-A fire reported in a garage south in Rosenthal south of Robinson spread to the attached house before fire crews could extinguish it Tuesday morning.

Fire units from Robinson, Golinda and Lorena responded to the fire at 4241 South Robinson Drive at 7:44 a.m. Tuesday.

A woman and her daughter were inside the home when the fire started.

Both escaped without injury and called 911.

The house sustained both fire and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
