COLLEGE STATION (June 11, 2009)—College Station financial company executive Gregg Baird, 38, who was arrested last month on seven counts of possession of child pornography, was in custody Thursday after he was arrested again, this time on 93 child pornography counts.
College Station police arrested Baird Thursday in the 5300 block of Ballybunion.
He was free on $70,000 bond at the time.
Bond on the new charges had not been set Thursday afternoon.
Baird, who’s a vice president at Aggieland Credit Union, was arrested last month in Alpine after a Department of Public Safety trooper pulled him over.
The trooper said he noticed blood on Baird’s arms and said Baird told him he had slit his wrists the night before.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment and then was taken to the Brewster County Jail before his transfer to Brazos County.

This man is obviously very sick and needs help. It is sad that a respected member of society can actually do this. He needs to be sentenced to a mental hospital where he can get some help and not be let out to do this again.
Am I the only one who is missing something here? Why was he pulled over? Was is a traffic violation? Then, why was he arrested? I didn't know that attempting to slit your wrists was a crime. I just don't understand this case at all? I'm glad that he was arrested for the child pornography...one down, several to go!
I do not understand for the life of me why a successful respected person would stoop this low. Something is missing somewhere. God help him.
