CAMERON (June 11, 2009)—A jury Thursday in Cameron decided on a life sentence for Gordon Lee Currin for the October 2008 shooting death of Milano restaurant owner Gregory James Storey, 48.

Earlier Thursday, the jury convicted Currin of murder.

Storey was shot to death on Oct.20, 2008 at the Roadside Barbeque restaurant he owned in Milano.

While Milam County sheriff’s investigators were at the scene of the shooting, Currin surrendered at the Milam County Sheriff’s Office.

Milam County Sheriff David Greene said Storey and Currin had a “long standing feud”.
