If you study motorcycle accidents you will find nearly every single accident is caused by alcohol, accesive speed, and inexperience. Age very seldom has anything to do with it. Older cycle operators are actually safer than young ones. I am only 43 and still learning from the older guys and gals. Oh btw...a little prayer before getting on the bike can make all the difference too. :)

I have to say that most older people(and yes im sorry 74 is OLD to be driving) need to stay off the road. id rather have 12 year olds driving at least they can see! I can't tell u how many time old people cause wrecks, everyday i drive in hewitt and waco i see old people driving in ways that threaten others safety(too slow, too fast, cant see). all u ignorant people defending old people will be saying the same thing when ur affected by it somehow just watch!
