WACO (July 10, 2009)—The American Red Cross is assisting the family of a volunteer firefighter whose home on J&B Springs Road in Riesel was gutted by fire late Wednesday night.
The fire left Riesel volunteer firefighter James Nunn, his wife Vickey and their three children homeless.
The Red Cross has provided vouchers for clothing and grocery purchases.
The Nunns are staying with relatives and didn’t require help with finding temporary shelter, the Red Cross said.
A fund has been set up for the family at Texas First State Bank in Riesel.
