BELL COUNTY (October 16, 2009)—A Rogers man was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging sexual assault in connection with the July 4 rape of his estranged wife.

Bond for Jesse Jose Arredondo was set at $25,000.

The victim told investigators a man broke into her house on July 4 and was asleep in the bedroom when she got home.

She said she, her mother and her children slept in the living area of the home to stay away from him, but said that later in the evening, the man grabbed her wrist as she slept and pulled her into the bedroom, according to the arrest affidavit.

She told the investigator she struggled in an attempt to get away, but said he pushed her down on the bed and assaulted her, the affidavit said.

She suffered bruising on her neck and arms during the attack the affidavit said.

This story and case is so baloney! If he broke in, were they being held hostage? Struggled to get away? Why did they not call the police when he broke in? OH! I forgot. this must have happened at night after police chief Wireman leaves his little 8-5pm job and responsiblities in Rogers and goes home to Waco for the night. Rogers does not have a police force at night. The accused man just wanted to be with his family. Probably was consenual sex until there was a fight and both the husband and wife got hostile with each other. Broke in?? That is his home. Said to have occured July 4 and just now reported three and half months later? Another shaft job by Bell Co. That poor man is the victim.

"once upon a time in a land far far away"......whoever wrote this article should have started it out with those words because it leaves the public (at least this public) in total confusion. too much, too little, too soon.

She probably did or said something that challenged his machismo and of course "they" then turn to rape! Its part of their culture!
