LORENA (October 29, 2009)—A boil order is in effect until Friday for some residents of Lorena.

Lorena officials issued a boil order Thursday for customers who live on the west side of Old Lorena Road to the Post Office, in the duplexes on the north side of Williams Road, the Shoal Ridge Subdivision and North Houston Street to the Post Office.

Residents of those areas who have experienced low water pressure should boil water before consumption until routine tests confirm the supply is free of contamination.

The results are expected Friday morning.
