Man Arraigned In Beating Death Of Central Texas Infant

LAMPASAS (November 9, 2009)--A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Dec. 14 for a man charged with capital murder in the beating a 2-and-a-half-month-old infant in Lampasas County.
Lowell Preston Garza, 20, was arraigned Friday in Lampasas County on the capital murder charge.
The Lampasas County Sheriff's office arrested Garza originally on a charge of injury to a child.
Garza was indicted on Oct. 21 on the capital murder charge.
According to the indictment, the infant, Isabella Raquel Garza was hit several times by a hand or fist, and died.
Garza was arrested on August 17.
He remains in the Lampasas County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond.

There is no justification for doing what Mr. Garza did to this infant. I am assuming this is his baby. Doesn't make any difference...a rational human being does not do this! I hope he gets what he deserves and has the rest of his life to wonder why this incident happened and what it has done to his family. Yes, I agree TDCJ justice is swift and it will be dealt with there.
