Waco 8th Grader Struck By Minivan Continues To Fight For Life
A Waco eighth grader who was struck by a minivan while riding his bicycle across a busy street remained in critical condition Thursday after undergoing surgery.

WACO (December 10, 2009)—James Counts III, 15, the Waco eighth grader who was struck by a minivan last Friday evening as he rode his bicycle across East Waco Drive, remained in critical condition Thursday at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
The Cesar Chavez Middle School student underwent lung surgery Wednesday night.
The accident happened at about 5 p.m. Friday as Counts road his bike across East Waco Drive at the intersection with Linn Street.
The driver of the minivan, who police said was an elderly man, was not injured.
The force of the collision shattered the frame of the bicycle.
Counts was taken first to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, and was later transferred to Scott & White.

This is in reply to Larry's post. It didn't take them 6 days to report this. It was posted the day it happend. This is an update.
Just know that God hears you when you call and he'll catch you before you fall. So when you have fallen know that you are not there for long but while you are down there just look up and PRAY. Its the proper way to communicate with God and believe that all will work out according to his will. Trust him with all your heart JC and he will see you through.
