(August 20, 2008)--Associated Hygienic Products announced late Wednesday it will build a 25,0,000-square-foot diaper manufacturing and distribution in center that will initially employ more than 100 workers.

The company anticipates adding more workers within about two years of staring operations.

Associated Hygienic Products will receive $920,000 from the Waco-McLennan County Economic Development Corp. as an incentive to build the facility, which will produce disposable baby diapers.

The plant will be built on Texas Central Parkway.

Operations are expected to begin by the middle of next year.

Waco was specifically chosen after thorough analysis of geographic locations which most benefit our valued retail customers,” said George H. Jackson, III, company president and CEO.
