(August 20, 2008)--If you're a fan of Bennigan’s and you were bummed after most of them closed their doors, you might be in luck.
Wednesday, one month after going out of business the Bennigan's Restaurant in Killeen reopened for friends and family.
Last month the Restaurant's Plano based parent company filed chapter 7 bankruptcy, forcing locations across the country to shut their doors.
Hammound, Inc. has since bought the Killeen franchise.
The company has spent the last few days renovating and sprucing up the restaurant.
A formal grand opening is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 31.
