(September 5, 2008)—A pilot whose small plane developed engine problems made an emergency landing Friday on the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey.

The pilot touched down in the northbound lanes early Friday afternoon.

Authorities shut down the northbound side of the highway until the plane was loaded onto a flatbed truck and taken to a nearby airport.

No one was hurt.
