Palin: Obama “Palling Around With Terrorists” Save Email Print

(October 5, 2008)--Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of his association with a former 1960s radical, Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground.

The group took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol four decades ago.

In remarks to GOP donors in Englewood, Colo., Palin said Obama seems to see the U.S. as being so imperfect that "he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

Ayers is now a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Obama served on a charity board with him several years ago and has denounced his past activities, noting they took place when Obama was 8-years-old.

Palin's attack coincides with the McCain campaign's decision to try to make Obama's character a centerpiece of the final month of its campaign.

The Republicans have controlled the congress for 8 of the last 10 years how could the democrats put anything through the congress. It was the the Republicans that rubber stamped everything that Bush and his evil vice president put out for them. McCain shows his ability to help this country by picking Palin for VP. She is not qualified to do anything but memorize McCains evil rhetoric. The Republicans have ruined this country and it becomes the fault of Obama. Wow is Obama powerful even brillant to have done all of the things he is accused of. Well I guess if you say it enough it becomes the truth. Pitiful.....Own up Republicans...

Palin is an idiot, plain and simple. All you McSame fools think Obama supporters are only blacks voting for a black president or that we are being brainwashed or something. This however is not the case, I do not like what McCain has to offer therefore I won't vote for him. Is that Obama terrorist trickory? No. Am I black trying to bring down the white man? No. And btw I don't dislike Palin for her inexperience it's the stupid way she talks, she doesn't make sense. I'm sure there are way to many shameful women voting for her just because she is a woman. Also I would like to add one of the very first things McCain did was accuse Obama of making sexist remarks. So it's both sides of the fence honey. One side claims racism the other sexism, looks like we arn't that different.

So what? Mc Cain consorted with the enemy while a POW in Vietnam. And he was a full Grown man, not a kid. And this makes him Presidential material? I can't believe people believe this guy is the greatest person. You Obama supporters are all over Palin about not having enough experience but she is not even running for president. Yet you would vote for Obama who has no experience besides voting present and being a blank slate that does what others tell him. I mean come on he took advice from Keith Olberman about making speeches. This guy has too many coincidences of being associated with corrupted people but yet he still gets a pass. Jeremiah Wright he went to his church for 20 years, wed him and his wife, and baptized their children. Now this Bill Ayers guy whose goal was to attack his own country. Rezko who is facing corruption and extortion charges. People wake up, this guy is not all that he pretends to be. And by the way, you need to check YOUR facts before spouting off. President Bush has made numerous attempts to solve this problem for the past 4 years but the DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY (YOu know, the ones with an approval rating far below his) kept blocking him. Ever wonder why the press and demowits are all against Palin so bad? It is because she stands against the status quo. She is a threat to big government and socialism. She actually stands up for us the people not the fat elites in Washington. Democrats hate her because she stands for self responsibility, ie get a job and support yourself. Take a look at the financial mess we are in. It lays souly at the feet of demowits, Frank,Dodd and Waters. We need less government not more. Oboma just wants to add trillions of more spending on hand outs and social programs including $845 billion more to the UN for them to fleece us some more. You can judge a man by the company he keeps, look at who Obama hangs with. Other countries want Obomit elected because they know he will dole out millions of your tax dollars so they can line their pockets. I think that you people who are going to vote for McCain/Palin are crazy. Do you really think that BONEHEAD Palin could run our country if McCain were to be elected and die in office?? The answer is simple...HELL NO!! Eveyone says oh well she is "just like us" and i dont know if anyone has noticed but are any of "us" qualified to become the president of the United States?? I also agree that MSNBC, CNN and few others are predjudice against McCain and Palin. It is going to make me fall over and thank God when McCain beats Obama the night of the election. Has anyone wondered where Michelle is lately? I think they may have told her to lay low as she would be the one to ruin his chances. I also agree with "sheep in wolf's clothing". And to the one who stated Obama has already won. Don't look at polls honey, Gore was ahead up until the end and he got BEAT.

Had to chime in on this one. To the intelligent folks who can read and hear, you are right, Obama would be the worst person we could ever put in the Whitehouse. What I see here are people "in love" with this guy who, for whatever reason, has them snowed!! Yes, they are using emotions and not common sense. Forget Ayers, Rev Wright was enough for me. No way will Obama EVER convince me he didn't know about his ranting about white people, NEVER. So if that was enough, you wonder what are these people thinking? You know it is a very scary time in the US and everyone better do more research than what media provides for us. The media is just doing their job and providing us with a story they don't care what story just a story. The faith of this lovely country is in the hands of the voters and I say this because I feel if Obama gets elected every thing that our soldiers have fought and died for will be gone. Obama does not respect our country or the soldiers lives it took to get our freedom. How can anyone even think of electing a president that will not acknowledge our flag and will not cover his heart. The only reason this Ayres thing is coming up is the fact that the Republicans are behind in the polls. They did the same thing in the 2004 election. Just look at us 4 years later. I feel this election is going to be based on who will do the least amount of damage to our country. That makes voting more important to me than ever. Patriot: I saw part of it and it only confirmed for sure that Obama is a very scary person. Yes, it is true that these bombings and such happened when Obama was a child. The problem is that W. Ayers is proud of what he did TO THIS DAY in the bombings which if my memory serves killed a police officer. He was glad he did it and preaches the same slime today. He is hip deep in Obama's campaign and helped Obama back when he was starting his political career. The same with ACORN. This is the same ACORN that was supposed to get 20% of the profits from the 700 BILLION BAILOUT just passed. The Republicans killed the amendment that would have provided ACORN who knows how much money. It was one of the main reasons the first vote failed. And Obama was FOR the first bailout proposal as were most Dems. I am glad that McCain/Palin are starting to get out and talk about Ayers, ACORN and other associations that Obama has. It TOTALLY goes to Obama's serious lack of judgement.

I dont know why you even try patriot. You are NOT going to change thier minds. Mainly because they arent using them. Its all about feelings and perception. They love a good talker. Heck, if I based my vote on ability to speak, we'll say WITH a teleprompter just to be fair, I would vote for Obama too. For those who lack an understanding of history, those people like Ayers of the 60s were not convicted because the prosecution messed up the case. These people have never given up their radical teachings for change in America... beware of the change you don't know much about.

Is it just me and a few close friends, but hasn't anyone figured out that Obama Bin Laden is the anti-christ? Just look at everything happening around the world. Now he has a 24 hour cable station (channel 73) touting his ways. He is as evil as they come and everyone needs to wake up and see this before it's too late. I also think Americans should demand for Obama to produce a "real" birth certificate. When it was said he was Kenyan born, which would constitionally disqualify him from being a U.S. President, he put up a fake birth certificate on his website. Every copy of every birth certificate in every state, has to have the states "embedded seal"...Obama's does NOT have it. Where it says "race" of parents, under father, it has African. In 1961, when Obama was born, the word (African) was not used anywhere in the U.S. to describe "race".

Did any of you see the hour long news special last night on Obama, Bill Ayers, Islam and ACORN?? The Weather Underground is a terrorist organization. Ayers participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol building in 1971, and The Pentagon in 1972 Obama has been "palling around Ayers" since he was in his early twenties. Ayers helped Obama kick off his campaign. How can Obama say he has no close ties with him???? Hope everyone saw the news special about Obama and Ayers, Islam and ACORN. If you want to vote for a man who until 10 months ago, hated his country, do it at your own peril.......
