Woman Arrested After Puppy Taped To Fridge
A 20-year-old woman was arrested after a puppy was taped to the side of her boyfriend’s refrigerator.

BOULDER, Colo. (April 15, 2009)—A 20-year-old woman was arrested in Boulder, Colo. after a puppy was taped to the side of her boyfriend’s refrigerator.

Abby Toll told officers she had told her boyfriend to get rid of the 8-month-old dog after the pup bit her.

Police said packing tape and elastic hair ties were used to bind the dogs, legs, tail, ears and snout.

Then the dog was taped upside down to the side of the refrigerator.

Police also arrested the boyfriend for not allowing Toll to leave the apartment or use her cell phone.

The puppy, named Rex, was taken to the Boulder Valley Humane Society for treatment.

Toll is facing felony animal cruelty charges.

Her boyfriend faces misdemeanor stemming from the domestic dispute sparked by the discovery of the puppy.
