(August 16, 2007)--A Canadian family has more than doubled in size after the successful -- and very rare -- births of four identical girls.

Their doctor says the tiny Jepp sisters -- Autumn, Brooke, Calissa and Dahlia -- ``are doing grand.''

Their births, at a hospital in Great Falls, Montana, were described as a very big medical event.

One health official says the chances of a woman giving birth to identical quads is one in 13 million.

The infants were naturally conceived and delivered by caesarean section.

Their dad says everybody's doing fine.

He says it's all thrilling and amazing.
