Price Drops At The Pump In Texas, But Not By Much

HOUSTON (September 5, 2013)--Retail gasoline prices across Texas slipped a penny this week as the summer driving season winds down, AAA-Texas reported Thursday.

AAA says the average price at the pump reached $3.41 per gallon.

Drivers nationally are paying an average $3.59 per gallon, up 3 cents in the past week.

The association survey found Amarillo with the most expensive gasoline in Texas at $3.50 per gallon and El Paso with the cheapest at $3.34 per gallon.
