WACO (November 27, 2012)—Service King Collision Repair Centers, which operates facilities in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Phoenix, has purchased Wade Auto Body, which has served the Waco area since 1970, the company announced Tuesday.
The purchase deal for Wade’s three Waco facilities is expected to close before Dec. 14, the company said.
The purchase will give Service King 55 locations in Texas and 63 across North America, the company said.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to add to our Texas footprint and connect our Dallas/Fort Worth and South Texas markets through our continued expansion along the I-35 corridor,” said Jeremy Lennox, vice president of Service King’s South Texas Market.
Wade’s current owner, Paul Anderson, will be part of the leadership team of Service King, where he started his career in 1987, the company said.
