HOUSTON (May 9, 2013)—The average price at the pump in Texas rose 4 cents this week, AAA-Texas reported Thursday.
AAA says the average price at the pump reached $3.38 per gallon this week in the state.
Gasoline prices nationally rose 3 cents this week to $3.55 per gallon.
The association says Dallas and Fort Worth have the most expensive gasoline in Texas at $3.41 per gallon while Beaumont has the cheapest with a $3.28 average.
AAA-Texas says recent signs of economic recovery have supported higher oil prices and led to slight gasoline price increases in many parts of the country.
