CAMARILLO, Calif. (January 27, 2013)--The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. has increased by two cents over the past two weeks, according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday, which says the price of a gallon of regular is $3.34.
Midgrade costs an average of $3.52 a gallon, and premium is $3.65.
Diesel held steady at $3.96 gallon.
Of the cities surveyed in the lower 48 states, Albuquerque, N.M., has the nation's lowest average price for gas at $2.88. Los Angeles has the highest at $3.71.
In California, the lowest average price was $3.47 in Stockton.
The average statewide for a gallon of regular was $3.61, up about three cents.
