BELL COUNTY (May 13, 2013) --- Business continues to boom in one Central Texas area as some big names in restaurants and retailing are moving in or plan to move in.

In Harker Heights Rooms To Go and Sam's Club will open for business in late September.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will also build in Harker Heights.

The restaurant chain opened a store in Killeen last year.

In a newsletter released by the Killeen Chamber of Commerce some new restaurants were highlighted as newcomers to town including In-N-Out Burger and Panera Bread.

Shipley Do-Nuts will move in near Highway 190 and W.S. Young Drive and construction is already underway on the new CVS near Highway 190 and Trimmier Road.

The chamber's newsletter also pointed out that Carolina Ale House is also looking to build in Killeen.

"Well as long as we continue to have rooftops out there with prospective consumers who are going to buy goods, the merchants are going to come and set up their businesses," Killeen Mayor Dan Corbin said.
