Price At The Pump Inches Up In Texas

HOUSTON (June 20 2013)--Retail gasoline prices across Texas rose 3 cents this week to an average of $3.43 per gallon, AAA-Texas reported Thursday.

The average nationwide gas price dropped 3 cents from last week to $3.60 per gallon, AAA said.

The association found that Corpus Christi had the cheapest gasoline in Texas at $3.32 per gallon while the most expensive price at the pump was in Fort Worth at $3.50 per gallon.

AAA says recent higher gasoline prices in some parts of the country have been because of problems with refinery maintenance and also with low supplies in the Great Lakes region.
