AUSTIN (October 30, 2013) Delayed state jobless figures from September and also October numbers will be released Nov. 22, the Texas Workforce Commission announced Wednesday.
Last month's Texas unemployment rate was originally set for release on Oct. 18, but was delayed because of the partial federal government shutdown.
TWC officials also rely on national figures from the U.S. Department of Labor.
The partial federal shutdown began Oct. 1.
About 800,000 government workers were furloughed for more than two weeks before President Barack Obama signed emergency legislation ending the standoff.
