Sandy Benefit Concert Will Be Available To A Billion People

NEW YORK (December 4, 2012)--Organizers say the upcoming 12-12-12 benefit concert for victims of Superstorm Sandy will be carried by dozens of U.S. outlets as well as internationally and on the radio and Internet.

In all, producers say the concert will be available to a billion people across six continents.

The Dec. 12 show at New York's Madison Square Garden will feature performances by Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys and others.

Proceeds go to victims of Sandy in areas of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

The November storm killed dozens and did billions of dollars in damage.
