LOS ANGELES (August 6, 2013)—Rapper 50 Cent, 37, has entered a not guilty plea through his attorney to charges of domestic violence and violence in California.
The case stems from a run-in with the rapper-actor's ex-girlfriend - and the mother of his child, Daphne Narvarez, who reported that 50 Cent trashed her condo in Toluca Lake, Calif., and kicked her during an argument.
Police reported that more than $7,000 in property at the condo was destroyed including chandeliers, furniture and a TV. 50
The rapper is due back in court next month for a pretrial hearing and meanwhile the judge has given him a long list of do's and don'ts including orders to stay away from his ex, and not to call or e-mail her.
He was also told he can’t have weapons in his possession and that he can’t prevent any witnesses from coming to court.
