NEW YORK (June 14, 2012)--Al Pacino returns to Broadway and the ugly world of real estate this fall as he revisits "Glengarry Glen Ross."
Producers said Thursday that the Oscar winner will play the role of Shelly Levene in a revival the marks the 30th anniversary of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play about the backbiting world of salesmen.
Pacino, who played the role of Ricky Roma in a 1992 film version of the same play, was last on Broadway as Shylock in "The Merchant of Venice," for which he earned a Tony nomination.
Previews of "Glengarry Glen Ross" will start on Oct. 16 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and opening night is set for Nov. 11.
