DALLAS (March 22, 2013)—What’s described as a "pristine" copy of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album autographed by all four band members is up for auction by a Texas-based auction house.
Dallas-based Heritage Auctions said bidding for the album has already passed $110,000 and could top $150,000 by the time bidding closes on March 30.
Heritage originally estimated the album would go for about $30,000.
The Beatles signed the album jacket on the gatefold above the pictures of their heads.
Heritage spokesman Noah Fleisher says the bidding started at $30,000.
