AUSTIN (February 4, 2013)--The story of how the Green Day album "American Idiot" was turned into a musical and how its creative team talked Billie Joe Armstrong into taking a featured role is the subject of a film that premieres in Austin.

The documentary "Broadway Idiot" will premiere next month at the South By Southwest Festival.

Green Day will also premiere "Cuatro" at the festival, a film about the making of their "Uno," ''Dos" and "Tre" albums.
