LOS ANGELES (May 15, 2014) Casey Kasem has been located in Washington state, three days after a judge in Los Angeles expressed concerns about the ailing radio host's whereabouts and safety, police said Thursday.
Santa Monica police Sgt. Mario Toti said Kasem was found a few hours after his children filed a missing person's report on Wednesday.
A representative for three of Kasem's children said the report was filed after a court issued letters appointing his daughter Kerri as Kasem’s temporary conservator.
Kitsap County sheriff deputies found the former “Top 40” host, Toti said.
On Monday, Superior Court Judge Daniel Murphy ordered adult protective services and a court investigator to locate Kasem after an attorney for his wife said he did not know where Kasem was.
