NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 7, 2012)--Casting Crowns will have three chances to win a Grammy Award at the Feb. 10 ceremony in Los Angeles.
The Georgia band is nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for "Come to the Well."
Casting Crowns' song "Jesus, Friend of Sinners" is nominated for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance and Best Contemporary Christian Music Song.
It was written by lead singer Mark Hall and Christian musician Matthew West.
West's album "Into the Light" also is among the Grammy nominees for best album.
Matt Redman's "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)" received two Grammy nominations, for the year's best song and performance in contemporary Christian music.
Casting Crowns received its only Grammy Award so far in 2006 for the album "Lifesong."
