PARK CITY, Utah (January 4, 2013)--Dave Grohl's new band may have some killer players in it, but he's not saying who they are—at least not yet.

Dave Grohl's Sound City Players will debut on Jan. 18 at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah where Grohl will present his documentary "Sound City."

It's about the Sound City Studios outside Los Angeles.

Grohl said the band will consist of core musicians and special guests from the film.

Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, Trent Reznor, Rick Springfield, members of Rage Against The Machine and Slipknot, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age and Nirvana bass player Krist Novoselic are among those who appear in the documentary.
