NEW YORK (June 21, 2013)—Diddy’s music network Revolt TV will launch in the fall through Time Warner Cable.
Diddy says the focus will be on music programming, live performances and interviews.
The network "will proudly be playing a lot of music videos," but it's not a new version of the old MTV, Diddy said.
Instead he said it will focus on established artists and breaking new talent from around the world.
Aside from the Internet, he said, there's no real platform for discovering new artists.
He says his musician friends are excited about having a new outlet for their creativity and Diddy says he’s excited about it too.
It took seven years to get it off the ground, he said.
