MINEOLA, N.Y. (June 3, 2014) Dina Lohan, 51, the mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, won't go to jail for speeding and drunken driving on a New York highway.
On Tuesday a judge ordered Lohan to pay more than $3,000 in fines and fees and to perform 100 hours of community service and participate in an anti-drunken driving program.
Her driver's license remains suspended.
Lohan’s sentence also requires her to have an alcohol-detecting ignition lock installed on her vehicle.
Lohan pleaded guilty in April to aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeding in Nassau County on Long Island in September.
She said she was fleeing paparazzi.
State police say Lohan, who lives in Merrick, was driving 77 miles per hour in a 55-mile per hour zone and that she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.20, more than double the legal limit.
