CHICOPEE, Mass. (September 3, 2014) A 20-year-old Massachusetts woman was charged after a state trooper noticed something a little odd about the license plate she spotted on a car on Interstate 391 in Chicopee, Mass.,
The license plate on the car, which the trooper pulled over at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, was actually just a piece of cardboard on which someone had crudely drawn letters and numbers with a red marker in a poor attempt to replicate a real Massachusetts plate.
The word "Massachusetts" and the phrase "The Spirit of America" were written in the appropriate places in blue pen.
The woman driving was charged with driving with a suspended license and attaching false plates.
