“Fast & Furious 7” Halted After Star’s Death

LOS ANGELES (December 3, 2013) Production on “Fast & Furious 7” was on hold Tuesday after the death of star Paul Walker in a fiery crash, Universal Pictures said.

While a large portion of the film has been shot, the movie is incomplete.

It's scheduled for release in July.

Autopsies were being performed Tuesday on the bodies of Walker and his friend Roger Rodas, who also died in the fiery car crash.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office said Tuesday it has received dental records from the families of both men.

Those will allow not only for formal identification of the bodies, but also official word on whether Walker or his friend and financial adviser was behind the wheel.

Walker's publicist has said Walker was the passenger when Rodas' Porsche Carrera GT crashed into a light pole and tree, then exploded in flames Saturday.
