NEW YORK (January 17, 2013)—Katherine Webb became an instant social media star thanks to ESPN and Brent Musburger, and now she's going to the Super Bowl.
The former Miss Alabama USA will cover the lead-up to the big game for "Inside Edition."
She's the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.
ESPN cameras focused on her during the BCS championship game, as the Crimson Tide shellacked Notre Dame and Musburger commented on her good looks.
CBS said she'll start work Jan. 28.
Webb calls the Super Bowl gig "an honor and a dream come true."
